Night Shift Strip Fitter

kolt recruitment is looking for a Night Shift Strip Fitter to join a busy and well-established accident repair centre based in Witham. This role is ideal for an experienced Bodyshop Strip & Fit Technician who is confident working independently on nights and delivering consistent, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip and fit vehicle panels and components to manufacturer standards
• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) parts as required
• Carry out basic diagnostics and identify additional repair work
• Work efficiently to maintain smooth workflow during night operations
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and documented correctly

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Strip Fitter / MET Technician within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
• Strong understanding of vehicle structures and component systems
• Ability to work independently on a night shift
• High attention to detail and methodical approach
• Full UK driving licence preferred
