Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at North Tyneside Council for a highly motivated and hard-working bricklayer to work within Property Services. The role focuses on carrying out bricklaying repairs and maintenance in local authority homes throughout the borough.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bricklaying repairs and maintenance
• Attend homes anywhere in the borough
• Deliver high quality work with a focus on completing jobs right the first time
• Use the company van; a full driving licence is required

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and experience in bricklaying
• Good understanding of working within social housing in a local authority
• Experience working in a variety of homes
