Overview
Assembler Tester | Location: Stroud | Hours: 38.75 hours per week | Salary: £12.81 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an Assembler Tester to join a well-established and reputable company based in Stroud. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary, excellent working conditions, and long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of products using a variety of tools and assembly aids
- Operate high-pressure test cells to carry out product testing
- Assemble and test products in accordance with specified procedures, without deviation
- Ensure high-quality standards, maintaining product cleanliness and preventing damage during handling
- Support 5S and safety practices across the assembly and testing processes
- Monitor build and test cycle times to align with costed estimates and report any discrepancies
- Carry out additional duties within the Assembly Department as required
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of test equipment and assembly tools
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, build, or fitting
- Competent in using a range of workshop tools and equipment
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
