Service Technician

Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties at Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre to ensure productivity, equipment availability, and health & safety compliance.
• Maintain equipment and installations in top condition.
• Carry out malfunction and maintenance work, and conduct preventive and periodic maintenance in collaboration with colleagues.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical and control technical faults.

Qualifications & Experience

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Willingness and availability to work shifts, including nights.
• Experience with maintenance planning.
• Subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within an FMCG manufacturing or automated environment.
• Experience in training/coaching.
