2x Joiner – Property Maintenance

Greater Belfast Area MalluskGrade 4Hours: Fulltime 37 hours per week Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:30pm Friday 8am – 1pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to join a busy Property Maintenance team delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across the Greater Belfast area. This is a varied, hands‑on role involving maintenance, repairs, installations, and general joinery works across a wide range of council properties and outdoor facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of joinery work including installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Work on doors, windows, flooring, kitchens, roofing structures, staircases, fencing, playground equipment, and outdoor fixtures
• Support planned and reactive maintenance programmes
• Repair and maintain alley gates, litter bins, signage, park benches, and sports equipment
• Read and work from technical drawings and specifications
• Order and collect materials as required
• Complete job costing and time‑recording documentation
• Participate in emergency call‑out services when required
• Drive council vehicles and safely use access/scaffolding equipment

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in joinery and property maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe working practices
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills
• Full driving licence preferred
