Multi-skill Trades – Roofer

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of properties, you will complete patch repair work and refurbishments.

Install and replace roofs, and be competent to deliver:

• Tile and slate
• Felting roofs
• Flat roofs
• Ridge and hip tiles
• Chimneys
• Flashing
• Pointing
• Rainwater gutters and down pipes

Work in people’s homes, being friendly, approachable and a good communicator.

You will need to be organized and understand the importance of delivering good customer service.

Qualifications

We want somebody who can:

• Have significant roofing experience
• Have a roofing qualification or time served, which will be a benefit
• Be self‑motivated
• Be willing to learn new skills
• Be able to work alone and as part of a team
• Have experience working for a social landlord, housing association or council
• Have strong customer service skills
• Hold a full current valid driving licence, essential for this mobile role
• Have a DBS check, as this role involves working within customers’ homes

Location

This role is team‑based in Central and Northwest Leicestershire; you must live in this area.
