Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well‑known Fabrication & Welding company, in their search for a Plater/Welder to work in their workshop based in Wem.

• £14.44 Per Hour – Reviewed after 3 months

• Basic factory opening hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30‑4:30, with a 12:30 finish on Fridays.

Role – Plater/Welder

• Read, interpret, and work with engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working on one‑off pieces and other small batch work.
• Use measuring equipment.
• Perform work in accordance with the company’s health and safety procedures.
• Be highly motivated.
• Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and fabrication – Essential.
• Experience of working from engineering drawings – Essential.
