Welder – Temp to Perm

Location: Oldham

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07.00 – 4.:15, Friday 07.00 – 12.15

Pay Rate: £14.50 – £15.50

Our client, based in Oldham, is looking to recruit an Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long‑term role, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

The Role

• Welding and fabrication of steel
• Cutting of metal to required size
• Using hand and power tools (full training provided)
• Manual handling – good physical fitness is essential

Requirements

• Recent, solid work history (work references will be checked at interview stage)
• Welding experience is essential
• Hands‑on, practical skills
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be carried out at interview)
• Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to learn
