Assembly Operator
Location: Ryde, Isle of Wight

About the Role
Pertemps Isle of Wight are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator on behalf of our client based in Ryde. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, working as part of a busy production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling a range of products in line with technical documentation, ensuring all work meets the required quality standards and production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Check kits against Bills of Materials and report any discrepancies
- Ensure all documentation is correct and up to date for each job
- Assemble components in accordance with drawings, work instructions and industry standards
- Complete work within agreed timeframes and raise any delays or issues promptly
- Work towards and maintain relevant inspection or quality standards
- Follow company procedures, including quality and health & safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and reporting process issues
- Carry out additional production duties as required and trained
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Good manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
Desirable:
- Experience in electronic or mechanical assembly
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing or sub-assembly techniques
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
