Cnc Machinist

Position Overview

CNC Machinist – Experienced CNC Miller or CNC Turner needed at a site near Lancaster.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling or CNC turning machines.
• Set up and run machining operations according to client drawings and quality requirements.
• Edit or write CNC programs from scratch.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high precision engineering methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Turner.
• At least 3 years proven experience setting and operating CNC machines.
• Experience with 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑axis machining.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Mazak, or Haidenhain CNC control systems.
• Experience working with a variety of metals.
• High‑spec industry experience (aerospace, oil & gas, defence) is a distinct advantage.
• Time‑served CNC machinist required.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 6 am–4.15 pm – 4‑day work week (night shifts available) or 5‑day week.
