At RAC, we appreciate the dedication of our colleagues who go the extra mile for our customers. In return, we offer a market competitive base salary of £42,921.87 (inclusive of night allowance) complemented by an average on‑target earnings ranging from £43,000 to £53,000.
Qualifications
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with proven technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- Customer‑focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
As a Roadside Technician within the Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it’s a flat battery, tyre change or complex fault‑finding, you’ll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.
You will start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head‑on and making a real impact on the roadside while combining technical expertise with outstanding member service.
You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit, all provided by RAC.
