About the Role
We are looking for a Joiner to assist Karbon Homes in delivering an excellent repairs and maintenance service that promotes a culture of customer first and continuous improvement.
You should have completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or have equivalent relevant experience and possess all the skills necessary to deliver all aspects of joinery works to a high standard in occupied and void, domestic and non-domestic premises ranging from minor repairs to the installation of major components.
You should hold relevant qualifications (refer to person specification) and also have experience of the trade. Customer service skills are essential for this role as is an excellent knowledge of health and safety.
A full UK driving licence is essential.

This vacancy sits within our KPS 54North Homes Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes Team. 54North Homes is part of the Karbon Group, and this team will deliver services to their customers and properties on behalf of Karbon. Applications are welcomed from those based across Yorkshire and Teesside. Our properties are predominantly located throughout North Yorkshire, particularly near the areas around Leeds and York.

- Joiner – Permanent role
- Salary is £35,218 per annum
- Location: York
- 37 hours per week
- Working patterns are 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm
- The successful applicant will be required to work throughout North Yorkshire, particularly near the areas around Leeds and York
- Company van provided
- The successful applicant will be required to participate in delivering our out of hours service (additional payments will apply)
- There may be an opportunity to earn additional money through overtime
