Roles: Brake Press Operatives
Location: Gloucester
Duration: Long-term (Could lead to permanent work for the right candidates)
Rate: £20 – £25/hour Negotiable depending on previous experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm – 10pm (Late Shift)
We are seeking skilled brake press operatives to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for operating press and folding machines to bend and form metal components.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to precise specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
- Perform quality checks on finished components
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Experience operating folding machines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
