Cross-Country Pipeline Welders – Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture Pipeline Project NRL is delighted to have been selected to work in partnership with United Infrastructure Ltd on the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture Pipeline Project, a major long-term infrastructure initiative supporting the UK’s carbon capture and decarbonisation objectives. We are currently seeking highly experienced Pipeline Welders to join this project. Applicants must have a proven track record of working on cross-country pipeline projects and demonstrate strong, hands‑on experience in STT Flux Core Welding. Familiarity and practical experience using BUG-O (Bugs) welding machines is essential, as this equipment will be used extensively on site.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a pipeline welder on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
- Demonstrated competency in STT Flux Core Welding processes
- Experience operating BUG welding machines
- Ability to meet strict quality, safety, and productivity standards
- UK residency or valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK (mandatory)
Project Details
- Start Date: From April 2026 onwards, subject to client programme and operational requirements
- Project Duration: Long-term opportunity with ongoing work, depending on performance and project needs
- Location: Cross-country pipeline works associated with the Liverpool Bay region
