Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install wooden structures, including frames, doors, windows, and furniture.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out joinery tasks.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for the transportation and installation of materials.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and masons, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete projects accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• CSCS card, tools, and references.

Job Details

• Carpenter/Joiner rate: £25 per hour paid UTR or PAYE Umbrella.
• Job Type: Temporary.
• Contract length: 2 weeks.
