Machine Operator / Forklift Driver

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operative to join our client’s team in a new state of the art facility, based in the Eurocentral area, with an excellent chance to go permanent in due course.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating a production line, handling raw materials, and working around machinery.
• Working to set targets and deadlines.
• General cleaning and housekeeping of the factory.
• Ensuring safety and meeting quality standards.
• Assisting the engineering team.
• Assisting at the end of the production process and moving raw materials for those with a forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role.
• Comfortable working with and near machinery and operating control panels.
• Reliable and committed to a rotating shift pattern.
• Own transport may be required due to location and shifts.

Key Information and Benefits

• Rotating shift pattern of 6:00‑2:00 and 2:00‑10:00, Monday to Friday.
• Immediate starts.
• £13.60 per hour for early/back shift.
• £16.96 per hour for night shift hours, if an opportunity arises.
• Regular overtime available and paid at 1.5× and 2×.
• Full 40 hours paid weekly.
