The Opportunity

Venatu Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a market‑leading company in the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) sector. With continued growth and a strong, reliable pipeline of work, this is a fantastic time to join a business that offers both stability and career progression.

We are looking for skilled joiners, semi‑skilled joiners, cabin fitters, and modular fit‑out operatives to become part of a thriving production team.

If you’re a joiner looking for consistent 39‑hour weeks (with the opportunity of voluntary overtime) long‑term security, and the chance to secure a permanent role for the right candidate, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Whether you’re an experienced bench joiner, site joiner, or cabin fitter, or a semi‑skilled joiner eager to develop, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Enjoy working in modern, indoor facilities — no weather delays, no site uncertainty — just stable, rewarding work with a great team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a joiner or cabin fitter, you’ll play a key role in the build and fit‑out of modular units:

  • Completing skilled and semi‑skilled joinery work including measuring, cutting, and assembling timber
  • Working as a joiner on modular buildings and portable cabins
  • Carrying out interior fit‑out tasks such as plasterboarding and wall installation
  • Supporting refurbishment and strip‑out projects as a cabin fitter
  • Marking out and constructing timber frameworks
  • Undertaking basic floor laying and finishing work
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Working alongside a team of joiners, fitters, and operatives to meet production targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a joiner, semi‑skilled joiner, cabin fitter, or modular operative
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on joinery, carpentry, or woodwork experience
  • NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Joinery & Carpentry (desirable but not essential)
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work as a joiner
  • A reliable team player who can also work independently
  • MMC or modular construction experience is an advantage, but not essential

Why Join?

  • Excellent pay rates with enhanced night shift earnings
  • Consistent, full‑time hours with long‑term stability
  • Genuine opportunity for a permanent position
  • Clean, dry, and modern working environment
  • Subsidised canteen and great onsite facilities
  • Join a company that is growing and investing in its people
  • Develop your career as a joiner within a future‑focused industry

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you’re a joiner, aspiring joiner, cabin fitter, or modular construction operative looking for a secure role with progression, stability, and a great working environment — we want to hear from you.
