This Welder/Fabricator role is essential within the manufacturing sector, responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components in line with detailed specifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding, cutting, and fabrication of metal components using MIG, TIG, and Arc techniques in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Maintain equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organised.
• Collaborate with the wider production team to achieve operational targets.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
• Understanding of safety procedures, welding code standards such as ISO 9606, and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints.
• Previous experience within a welding or fabrication environment.
• Committed to working safely and maintaining high standards.
• Relevant welding qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
