CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator – Back Shift

Kingswinford, DY6 7TR • £18.50 per hour • Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing business within the fastener industry on a permanent back shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong CNC machining experience who can work independently and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC machinery
• Operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls
• Work from customer drawings and specifications
• Produce components to tight tolerances
• Inspect and check own work to ensure quality standards are met
• Prove out programs at the machine
• Report tooling requirements to the Supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow all health & safety procedures
• Support continuous improvement and training initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines
• Experience using Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of machining processes and quality standards
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Fastener industry experience advantageous but not essential
