Your Role
As a Machinist, you’ll be at the heart of operations, producing and repairing bespoke components that keep manufacturing running. You’ll work from detailed engineering drawings, using lathes, milling machines, and other precision tools to deliver high‑quality results.
You’ll be part of a supportive, safety‑first team working 8‑hour shifts on a rotating pattern (days, backs, nights) Monday to Friday. With a brand‑new workshop on the horizon, you’ll help shape a cutting‑edge facility.
What You’ll Need
- Time‑served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or similar
- Skilled in manual lathes, milling machines, and general workshop tools
- Valid driving licence
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work
Desirable:
- CNC machine experience (setting/programming)
- IOSH or NEBOSH safety qualification
