Electrical Fitter 6831
Location:Stroud
Hours:Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am – 2:00pm (40 hours per week) with overtime available
Salary:£30,000 – £35,000 per/ Annum (dependent on experience)plus additional earning through bonuses and overtime
Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Fitter
- Produce vehicle and equipment circuitry of varying complexity to required specifications
- Work from electrical schematic drawings using general electrical engineering tools and techniques
- Carry out quality inspections and monitor own work to ensure it meets required standards
- Refer work for concession or remedial action to management where necessary
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and departmental safety rules
- Maintain responsibility for personal health and safety and that of colleagues
Key Skills of an Electrical Fitter
Essential:
- Solid electrical engineering background
- Recognised electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ
- Ability to read, understand, and work from electrical schematic drawings
- Proficiency with general electrical engineering tools and techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform self-inspection
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
