Role Overview
We’re recruiting an Electrical Bias Engineer to join our London Thamesport team.
Working alongside our existing technicians, inspectors and under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing essential site support for business-critical vessel operations, providing general maintenance to Port Plant and machinery.

Provide site support for business‑critical vessel operations and general maintenance to port plant and machinery.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering.
- Experience diagnosing and fixing issues with HGV plant, specifically RTG’s, TUGS/IMVS, Quay Cranes.
- Assured driving for all engineering plant required to complete service and repairs, as well as mobile elevating work platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and a pro‑active approach to personal and professional development.
Shift Schedule
You will be required to work fixed 12‑hour shifts on a rotating schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off, followed by 5 days on, 5 days off.
Shifts run between 06:00 and 22:00, Monday to Sunday.
On weekends, if operational demands allow, shifts may finish at 18:00.
