Pipe Welder Mate

Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for a Pipe Welders mate to work at various sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting pipefitters & welders with the preparation and setup of pipe fabrications.
• Handling and positioning steel pipework for welding.
• Using hand and power tools to cut, grind, and prepare surfaces / weld end preparations.
• Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.
• Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
• Previous experience as a Welders Mate or similar role.
• Must have experience using Burning Equipment
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (preferred).
• CSCS card

£Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

An immediate start is available.
