Are you a CAD Draughtsperson or similar with a background using AutoCAD 2D looking to join an established manufacturing company and design projects for some of the most well‑known companies in the UK?
On offer is an opportunity to join a manufacturing business that has operated for over 30 years, designing and installing projects across the UK for clients such as Waitrose, Rolls Royce and Ikea.
This role will involve creating detailed fabrication drawings for bespoke projects, liaising with clients and the fabrication department to understand requirements and adjust drawings accordingly. You will also produce bills of materials and occasionally travel to sites.
This role would suit a CAD Draughtsperson or similar who is looking for a varied role, taking charge of designing projects for an established company that offers industry training, progression opportunities and a host of company benefits.
The Role
- Design detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
- Liaise with the fabrication department.
- Advise clients on design and construction matters.
- Create bills of materials.
- Occasionally travel to site.
The Person
- CAD Draughtsperson or similar experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Commutable to Newark‑on‑Trent.
