Fitter/Fitters Mate | Leicester, LE19 | £12.71–£15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are recruiting a fitter or a fitter’s mate for a workshop based in Enderby, Leicestershire, LE19. The role will be based in the workshop preparing the products and on the road fitting high‑end worktops and fireplaces for prestigious properties.

Hours of Work

Standard hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00 when based in the workshop. On‑site fitting may require earlier starts, later finishes and occasionally overnight stays. Flexibility is a must.

Rate of Pay

£12.71 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely.
• Use hand tools to achieve required finishes.
• Cut materials using hand tools and machinery.
• Move materials and finished products around the workshop.
• Support the cutting and fitting of worktops and fireplaces in domestic and commercial properties.
• Maintain a well‑presented appearance for high‑end clientele.
• Perform manual and occasional heavy work.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.

Skills & Experience

• Hold a CSCS card.
• Experience in fitting and preparing products.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Experience in labouring, kitchen fitting, carpentry or glasswork is beneficial.
• Ability to move and handle heavy materials and equipment.
• Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
• Excellent customer‑service skills.
