Overview
Service Technician – Lancashire and Yorkshire
DeLaval is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of solutions for dairy farmers around the world. You will work with a small experienced team and report to the AfterMarket and Service District Manager.
Responsibilities
- Service and support DeLaval voluntary milking systems to the highest standard.
- Support district sales managers by following up enquiries and spending time with prospective and existing customers.
- Organise and prioritise workload; travel for training; may travel to support colleagues and dealers where necessary.
- There will be a huge focus on quality and customer service, as well as other duties and benefits associated with representing a global market leader.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of service work within the Agricultural industry
- Interest/Experience in Robotic milking systems
- Proven record of outstanding customer relations
- Fluent in English with good communication skills at all levels, demonstrating excellent verbal, written and IT skills
- Technical and mechanical knowledge
- Interest in animal husbandry and milk production is an advantage
- Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate
