MobileHeavy Plant Fitter

Location: Mobile role covering sitesbetween Teesside and Scunthorpe (accommodation provided where required)Salary: £38,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + overtimeContract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to PermanentWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (42 hours per week)

RoleOverview

We are seeking an experienced and reliableMobile Heavy Plant Fitter to join our growing team. This is a field-basedposition covering multiple customer sites across the Teesside to Scunthorperegion.

The successful candidate will be responsiblefor the servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of a broad range ofheavy plant machinery, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest safetyand performance standards.

This role requires a self-motivated individualwho is confident working independently while remaining closely connected to thewider operational team.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Service,maintain and repair heavy plant machinery including FLTs, MEWPs, towerlights and larger plant equipment
  • Carryout planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with company schedules
  • Attendbreakdowns and carry out timely, effective repairs to minimise downtime
  • Diagnoseand rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Maintainaccurate service records and documentation
  • Ensureall work is completed in accordance with company procedures and health andsafety regulations
  • Representthe company professionally when working on client sites

Requirements

  • Provenexperience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or similar role
  • Strongall-round knowledge of plant machinery and equipment
  • Experienceworking on heavy dumpers, including CAT 771 and 775 models
  • Experienceworking with CAT machinery
  • Strongdiagnostic and fault-finding ability across mechanical, hydraulic andelectrical systems
  • Abilityto work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Excellentproblem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • FullUK driving licence
  • Previousexperience in a mobile or field-based engineering role
