Proactive Global is hiring for experienced Mechanical Assemblers/Fitters to join a leading manufacturing company based in Sunbury-upon-Thames , TW16 location.

Salary : £27-31k per annum

Shift Timings : Monday – Thursday- 7:30AM-4:00PM, Friday – 7:30AM-1:00PM

Responsibilities:

• To assemble and test the company’s range of products in accordance with drawings, procedures and work instructions.
• To assist with maintaining and organising the production work area.
• To handle materials and kits in accordance with instructions.
• To assist with packing labelling and despatch of materials as directed.
• To record changes required to drawings or parts list to enable production information to be corrected and maintained accurately.
• Responsible for good housekeeping in your own work area.

Technical spec:

• Experience with mechanical assembly OR mechanical curiosity and aptitude.
• Competent with hand tools – essential.
• Able to read engineering drawings, pneumatic circuit diagrams – desired.
• Lean 5S experience – desired.
