The Role

• Prepare trailer curtains for fitting
• Perform high‑quality alterations
• Assemble in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficiently to achieve high‑quality work
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Skills and Attributes

• Ability to weld at entry level; will be further trained
• Fully competent in the use of hand and air tools
• Ability to read and work from detailed fabrication drawings
• Capable of working to demanding deadlines
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes and sheet metal work
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
• Familiarity with safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team

The Hours

• No weekends and early finish on a Friday
• Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 5.00pm
• Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
