Hours:07:45am-16:45pm Monday-Thursday 07:45am-13:30pm Friday
An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join its production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to precise specifications, working with a range of materials in a safety-focused, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out TIG welding on components to engineering drawings and specifications
Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
Ensure all welds meet required quality, strength, and finish standards
Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment as required
Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and identify any defects and carry out weld repairs.
Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet deadlines
Assist with rework or corrective actions where necessary
Adhere to company quality systems and production processes
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Air tools and visual inspection experience
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
