Job Description:

Contract: Full Time Permanent, 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday‑Friday)Salary: up to £38,800 per annum plus company van & fuel card

Pyramid Plus is a dynamic joint venture between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, delivering high‑quality repairs, maintenance, compliance, planned replacements, and fire risk assessment works. We serve over 23,500 homes, completing more than 38,000 repairs, 1,000 void refurbishments, and installing 600 kitchens and bathrooms each year. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth, and this role offers the opportunity to be a key member of the senior management team, driving the successful delivery of planning and customer service functions at the heart of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day‑to‑day carpentry repairs in occupied properties as part of a responsive maintenance service
  • Replace and repair internal doors, frames, handles, locks and hinges
  • Fit and adjust kitchen units, worktops, cupboard doors and pelmets
  • Install or replace skirting boards, architraves and other decorative joinery
  • Repair or replace timber flooring, stair components and handrails where required
  • Make good following repairs, including basic patch plastering or tiling as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Accurately record job details, materials used and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets
  • Work professionally and respectfully in residents’ homes, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Identify and report additional works, safeguarding concerns or property issues beyond the scope of the job
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Provide high levels of customer care

Criteria

  • Proven experience in domestic repairs and maintenance in a carpentry position
  • Experience in the above duties
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in occupied homes
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
  • Ability to use handheld devices or job management systems to record work
  • Willingness to participate in out‑of‑hours emergency rota
