Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: 12‑hour shifts, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

Type: Permanent

HRGO Recruitment is looking for an experienced Machine Operator for a global firm manufacturing plastic packaging for major brands.

We’re seeking a logical, team‑player who can ensure our client’s fast‑paced production line runs smoothly.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and optimise EBM & Injection Moulding machines on‑site
• Execute the production schedule
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment as needed
• Carry out production changeovers, tool changes and start‑up processes
• Inspect finished products visually
• Conduct routine quality checks
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organised workspace

Experience & Background

• Experience in a fast‑paced production facility
• Plastics manufacturing / moulding experience desirable though not essential
• Strong awareness of health & safety regulations

Technical Skills

• Experience with tool changes and planned maintenance a plus
• Mechanical knowledge advantageous
