Unique opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join a prestigious training facility in Chatham, Kent.
£35K rising to £37K after probation period + excellent benefits, training and career prospects. 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday), permanent.

Responsibilities
- Work on inspection, testing and repair of mechanical machinery and equipment used within the technical trade training workshops, offices and classrooms covered by MKC Training estates (including Brompton, Wainscott and Maidstone).
- Operate on equipment requiring the following skills: machine turning, milling, bench fitting, welding and brazing, sheet metal work, petrol and diesel engines/generators, pumps and hydraulics, servicing of small and large machines.
- Able to read and interpret engineering diagrams and charts.
- Maintain the ability to work at height.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications such as an Apprenticeship or training with C&G, NVQ or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license is required.
