Ambitek is recruiting experienced Skilled Structural MIG Welders to join our client’s busy fabrication team in Winsford.
This is a long‑term contracting opportunity offering strong rates, steady hours, and ongoing work for reliable, qualified welders.
Key Responsibilities MIG welding of structural steel beams, end‑plates, and associated components.
Using solid wire MIG in the down‑hand position.
Completing 10mm T‑joint multi‑run fillet welds, including controlled start/stop techniques.
Working accurately from engineering drawings and welding specifications.
Ensuring all welds meet required quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Requirements Proven experience in structural MIG welding, ideally within a fabrication workshop environment.
Ability to produce a high‑standard 10mm multi‑run T‑joint fillet weld.
Must successfully pass a trade test prior to starting.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, high‑quality workmanship.

Working Hours Monday–Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45 Friday: 07:45 – 12:45 Overtime available after 39 hours at an enhanced rate.
Additional Information This is a long‑term contracting role and not a permanent position.
