Joiner – Social Housing (BBBH15044cf) Magherafelt, Northern Ireland

Salary: GBP15 – GBP16 per hour

Joiner role with a leading construction company. Initial 6-month contract with possibility of permanent position.

Role Overview

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (Castledawson depot)
• Company van and fuel card provided
• Temporary to permanent role
• £15-16 per hour depending on experience, with review after six months

Additional Requirements

• Full driving licence
• Valid CSR Card – (Can be organised if required)
• Availability for out-of-hours callouts on a rotational basis (every 6–8 weeks)
• Includes evening and weekend callouts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 1st and 2nd fix joinery duties including ironmongery repairs, kitchen installation, all types of door installation, and glazing.
• Work on void and tenanted properties.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants.
• Work under the instruction of the site supervisor to meet the needs of clients and tenants.
• Observe the highest levels of health and safety, using appropriate safety equipment.
• Ensure work areas are left clean and tidy at the end of the day.
• Complete and submit site-based or company documentation accurately and timely, electronically or paper based as required by the contract.
• Perform job in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time-to-time.

Qualifications

• Time served or appropriately qualified with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
• Strong background in minor building and maintenance joinery services.
• Access NÍ Disclosure Check required for this position. A criminal record will not necessarily be a barrier to employment.
