Mobile Plant Fitter

Location: Fleetwood

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles in accordance with Company and Manufacturer Service Schedules. As a Mobile Plant technician, you will be maintaining and supporting our fleet of plant equipment, responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance as required.

What your day will look like:

• Carry out scheduled service inspections, servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
• Conduct regular servicing on machinery, plant and equipment as assigned.
• Diagnose and repair complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment.
• Conduct repairs to machinery, plant and equipment, and their components.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop environment.
• Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App.
• Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

What we need from you:

• NVQ3 equivalent or equivalent education.
• Crawler crane and piling rig experience.
• CSCS.
• Preferably experience in a similar role.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Commitment to carry out in-house Murphy training requirements.
