About the RoleWe’re seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy Finance team. You’ll manage a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant:
- Process purchase invoices through to payment
- Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received
- Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams
- Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment runs
- Maintain supplier records and set up new accounts
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and aged creditors
- Support the Finance team with ad-hoc tasks
Skills & Experience needed from the Accounts Assistant:
- Previous purchase ledger experience essential
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT skills (InspHire desirable)
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
