We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a supportive team based in Swinton. This role involves a range of transactional finance duties and supporting month-end processes.
This is a great opportunity for someone with Accounts Assistant or similar experience who is looking to develop their career in a professional environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices, match to orders/delivery notes, and maintain supplier accounts
- Prepare supplier payments, reconcile statements, and resolve queries
- Raise sales invoices, allocate payments, and manage debtor balances
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Post journals and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end reporting and audit preparation
- General finance and administrative support
Person Specification:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- AAT qualification or studying towards would be an advantage but not essential
