Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and family‑owned business based in Bury. Established in 2003, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional customer service across Lancashire and Yorkshire and represents several leading automotive brands. This full‑time office‑based role will support the busy Accounts Team and would suit a detail‑oriented individual with previous accounts experience and strong systems knowledge.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations and posting daily bank entries
- Allocation of sales ledger receipts and vehicle payments
- Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
- Managing supplier statements and account queries
- Supporting the wider Accounts team with general finance administration
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeping position
- Good Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Experience using Pinewood Pinnacle, Kerridge or previous motor trade experience would be desirable
