The Role

  • Expense Controlling
  • Process AP transactions and manage queries with 3rd parties and internal customers
  • Ensure invoices are processed only when correctly authorised and coded
  • Deal promptly with queries from suppliers and operations
  • Scan invoices onto ReadSoft system and monitor the accuracy of capture
  • Correctly identify the destination of invoices and forward to the correct regional contact for processing
  • Enter paper invoices into the system and forward to the appropriate regional contact where full matching does not occur
  • Manage suppliers on direct debit payments, ensuring invoices are correctly entered and debit balances do not arise
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations on identified key accounts
  • Ensure VAT and nominal coding are correct on all processed transactions

Candidate profile

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in Accounts Payable department
  • Accounting software use required, SAP experience preferred
  • Invoice processing system experience
  • Good Excel skills required
  • Excellent communicator who can liaise at all levels
  • Team player who is able to quickly establish relationships
  • Ability to meet deadlines & deliver work in a fast paced finance environment
  • Open minded to flexible ways of working & able to adapt to new processes & procedures
