Description
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and records.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as required by the team.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounts management.
- Proficiency with accounting software, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
