Trading Desk Assistant – Equity Derivatives
Location: Mayfair, London
Our client is a well-established financial markets firm seeking a Trading Desk Assistant to join their Equity Derivatives Trading Desk in London.
This is a front-office position offering direct exposure to a live trading environment and close interaction with experienced execution traders. The role provides an excellent platform for someone looking to build a long-term career within trading, markets, or derivatives.
The Role
Working closely with the trading team, you will support the day-to-day operations of the equity derivatives desk, helping to ensure accurate trade execution, effective communication, and smooth post-trade processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirming and validating trades across equity derivatives products
- Communicating pricing and trade details internally and with clients
- Supporting trade settlement and lifecycle processes
- Maintaining and updating market data and client records
- Producing end-of-day trading recaps and tailored client insights
- Assisting with trade execution and crossings when required
- Acting as a key coordination point within the trading team
