Senior Communications Officer

York — Contract — £26.06 per hour

Responsible for leading the planning and delivery of communications activity for a defined portfolio of work. Acting as part of a team of Communications Managers and senior communications officers, the post holder will translate organisational and communications strategies into effective delivery across campaigns, channels and stakeholders while supporting and managing more junior officers.

Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering senior-level communications, including media handling and development of communications plans.
• Prior experience working within a government or other political environment.
