Childrens Social Worker
Contract Length: 3 months
Are you an experienced social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Our client in Durham is seeking a Mou Childrens Social Worker to join their Connected Carers Team to support children in finding stability and security in their placements.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Complete Reg 24 viability assessments and Full Connected Carers assessments
- Support, supervise, and conduct reviews with Connected Carers
- Provide guidance and assistance to carers transitioning from a family/friend role to a carer role
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the best outcomes for children in care
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience working in Fostering
- Strong understanding of the role within a Connected Carers Team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
