Personal Assistant (Support Worker)

Location: Larkhall

Part‑time & Sessional contracts available. Monday – Friday 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. Drivers preferred.

Enable is an award‑winning social care charity. As a Personal Assistant, you will support individuals to achieve their goals and outcomes.

Your role will include:

• Assisting with personal care, moving, and handling.
• Providing positive behavioural support.
• Expanding the social networks and connections of the people you support.
• Planning and leading activities and sensory stimulation.
• Providing consistent support for day‑to‑day life, ensuring safety and wellbeing.

Specific example: Supporting Noah, a young man with Dravet syndrome, learning disability and ADHD, who requires help with daily living, personal care, behaviour support and pursuing meaningful activities. You will build a trusting relationship, help him manage anxiety and provide calm, confident support during moments of distress.

You do not need previous care experience; Enable recruits based on values and transferable skills.
