Reception Administrator / Exams Officer

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Please note: this post is being advertised as a combined, full-time position. Applications will also be accepted for either the Reception Administrator or the Exams Officer on a part-time basis. This is a term-time only contract, working 39 weeks per year.

Salary: NJC 12-15 £32,535 – £33,987 FTE per annum. Actual salary will be subject to agreed contractual hours.

Location: Clarendon Secondary/Primary/Riverside (to be confirmed at interview)

Start Date: September 2026

Responsibilities

As a Reception Administrator, you will manage the school reception, handling enquiries and visitors. You will offer practical support to staff, parents and visitors, providing accurate information and signposting to sources of help and advice.

As an Exams Officer, you will organise and run both internal and external examinations. You will act as the primary liaison between the school and external examination bodies, ensuring compliance with award body requirements and JCQ regulations before, during and after examination periods. Training will be provided if required.
