Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mental Health Team as a Senior Social Worker on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities

Provide sound knowledge of Social Work practice, legislation and statutory responsibilities, and understand local resources and systems. Apply a strength-based approach to maximise the independence of individuals. Manage a line of staff, focusing on outcomes, performance, wellbeing, recruitment and retention, and supervision.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Sound knowledge of Social Work practice, legislation, and statutory responsibilities. Understanding of local resources and systems. Awareness of the Mental Health Act is beneficial. Experience in line management and supervision, with a focus on outcomes and staff wellbeing.
