Male Social Personal Assistant – AYCNCL

Job Overview

Hours: 15 hours per week term time, 18.5 hours per week school holidays (including weekends if required)

Area: Fenham, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Rate: £14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist a 16‑year‑old young gentleman with Autism and a Learning Disability living with his family.
• Provide personal care support with toileting, prompting and ensuring use of the toilet.
• Accompany him to chosen venues or activities such as parks, swimming pools, activity centres, trampoline park and beach visits.
• Support regulation using sensory fidgets and toys, and respond when he becomes upset.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Driver essential – must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Good level of fitness to accompany him on outdoor activities.
• Must have permission to work in the U.K.
• Ability to ensure all food consumed is Halal and adhere to dietary requirements.
