We are seeking an exceptional Reception Supervisor to join our opening team at The St. Regis London. This role supports the Front Office leadership team in overseeing daily Reception operations, ensuring a flawless arrival and departure experience while delivering personalized, anticipatory service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure an elegant and efficient check‑in and check‑out experience for all guests.
- Oversee daily Reception operations, support the team with complex payment issues, room allocations, and guest inquiries.
- Process and verify all payment types, ensuring accuracy in billing and account set‑up.
- Lead by example, inspiring a culture of excellence, professionalism, and collaboration within the Reception team.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and thoughtfully, ensuring issues are resolved to the highest standard.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to track room readiness and manage exceptional requests.
- Support the management team with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance conversations.
- Maintain compliance with all St. Regis brand standards, policies, and procedures.
- Review and maintain detailed shift logs, ensuring clear handovers and continuity of service.
- Uphold the highest standards of guest confidentiality, safety, and operational integrity.
Core Competencies
- Previous experience in front office or guest‑facing hotel operations, ideally within a luxury environment.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to support, guide, and develop colleagues.
