About the Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Qualified Social Workers to join Adult Services in Yeovil, Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and forward‑thinking local authority, delivering high‑quality care and support to adults with a range of needs.

You will play a key role in promoting independence, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and delivering person‑centred interventions in line with statutory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adults with varying levels of complexity
• Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning
• Work with individuals, families, and carers to promote independence and wellbeing
• Carry out safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments
• Collaborate with multi‑agency partners to deliver coordinated support
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with local authority standards
